Relationships

Relationships are a vital part to human life. After all, we are social creatures. But what do relationships give us?

Relationships provide a sense of association, affiliation, and acceptance to the human species. Neither your color, race, ethnicity, culture, religion, nor your beliefs matter for a relationship to exist with another human being. We all breathe air, pump blood, need water and calories to live, and we all need to belong to something greater than our self, even if it's the relationship with one other person.

My advice to anyone is cherish the relationships you have. Maintain a friendship, nurture the relationships you have with your loved ones, and remember to care for the relationship you have with yourself. It's not about being selfish, but about knowing yourself and showing yourself some appreciation so you can then pay it forward to someone else you care about.

Stay Strong,
